How to write a flashback for start of a story?

I wouldn't do an actual flashback. I'd instead have your character thinking about this event as she's walking into the cemetary - discussing it in her head. You don't want to have too many flashbacks, especially at the beginning of your story, since they can easily disrupt the flow of the action.
