Why do Tigers fan think Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball?

Tigers fans overrate Justin Verlander so much. He is a good pitcher but they believe that he is a top 3 pitcher. They also say Miguel Cabrera is the best player in baseball when he is not even a top 3 1st basemen. Well fans of my favorite team, the Washington Nationals overrate Stephen Strasburg and Bryce Harper but Tigers fan take it to another level. Verlander is not an elite pitcher and he is in the 2nd or 3rd tier pitchers. Do you agree that Tigers fan overrate Verlander?
