Question about newborn puppies?

I am currently fostering two adult dogs. One of them just had puppies a week ago. Today I've noticed when they have a bowel movement there is little white balls in it. I've taken care of lots of puppies but I have never seen anything like that. I do intend to take them to the vet later today. I was wondering if anybody on here has seen this before and knows what it could be. Thanks
