Is this an unhealthy way to think?

Baseball is a team sport. If you win, you all win. If you lose, you all lose. You should not be selfish and just play for yourself. You are right: it is not healthy. If one guy makes an error, the whole team is charged with an error. When you look up on the scoreboard, it say Home Team: 7 R, 9H, 1 E. It doesn't have the player's name next to the run he/she scored, or the error he/she might have committed. It's a team; you are a team. If you want to think and act and play just for yourself, then go play a video game. Then it's just you. But when you are on a field with the rest of your team, you become part of that team. No one player is greater than the team. Baseball is a game of life. The way you play it is the way you think about life.
