Fastpitch Softball, Form/Tips/Drills?
I have been playing softball for a long time (since I was little 9-10 years?), recently I took a year off for school, so I might be missing my Men's League games this year. I haven't pitched in awhile so I thought I should maybe start up. I realized/already kinda knew that my form was not perfect, but it worked for me and I wasn't doing too bad. BUT, I am starting to see that it hinders me. I have been trying to develop a perfect form. My old way was the way that I was taught, to hit your him with your wrist and let go. Now am I suppose to him my hip at all with any part of my arm? and when to a close my hips, I know your suppose to open up like, belly towards the 3rd basemen pretty much. Can you describe the ideal and perfect form. PLUS, what are some good drills and I heard about using electrical tape to see if you have good spin, but where do I tape?
